2). Header logo

A blog should start with a *logo* or an *image text*. You can actually design a logo or an image text by using corel-draw or Photoshop then upload it. I know many will be confused about what is an image text.
An image text is a text you typed into any image editing or designing application, which is then converted into an image like form. Check my blog image text screenshot below to have an idea of what am talking about

After that select *layout* from your blogger dashboard and click on  *header logo*.

Another page will be displayed unto you, now click on *choose upload file* next to *image* and locate the file which you have designed and upload it.
Be patient while its loads. After it finished loading, select *instead of title and description* under *placement* and click save.

3). Main menu or Link list

In this part you can choose to add many links. But i will advice you to delete all but exclude *home*. Having home button right after the header logo is essential for your blog readers.

4). social menu

Social menu are just the same with link list. You can copy and add your social media accounts links there. Once visitors click on it, they will be redirected to your social media accounts where they can easily chat with you. But it optional, you can choose not to

5). Remove any gadget in the *feature post* and don't touch any settings in the *main post*.

Remove any gadget in sidebar (A) and add the below gadgets in sidebar (B) according to this order [ *feature post* gadget,  *popular post* gadget which should not be more than 5,  *email* gadget,  *tag* or *category* gadget,  *followers* gadget and  *contact form* gadget ].
Note: if your template is having only sidebar (A) you are free to add all the gadgets which are meant for sidebar(B).

6). Sections

In some templates this section consists of three parts while some is just two. If yours is two just add three "recent posts" to *Section (left)* and three "popular posts" to *section (right)*.
For those with three *sections* add three "recent posts" to *section (left)*, add three "popular posts" to *section (middle)* and add "contact form" to *section(right)*. After adding it, go back to step 5 and remove "contact form" gadget.

Kindly note that: not all templates comes with *sections* if yours doesn't have, skip this step.

7). Menu footer

This part is use to add important stand-alone pages in your blog. Example of such pages are (about, contact us, privacy policy, disclaimer, cookies policy, terms and conditions etc.). You can add as many as you can.
